Equipment

  • Manual Blender

Ingredients
  

  • 5 large Tomatoes/Cucumbers
  • 1 big Red/Green pepper
  • 3 Garlic cloves Crushed
  • 1/3 cup Olive oil
  • 4 tbsp Wine vinegar
  • 1 small Onion Peeled and halved
  • 1-2 Bread slices (without the crust)
  • Salt and Pepper to your taste
  • 6-8 Ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor or using a manual blender - blend at high speed until very smooth
  • If needed, add up to 1/3 cup water
  • Transfer to a large container and refrigerate for at least one hour

Serve with optional fresh topping:

  • Thinly sliced cucumber
  • Olive oil
  • Sesame seeds
  • Fresh basil/coriander leaves, or edible flowers
